Note on Air travel to and from North America
To To give participants maximum flexibility with their schedule, we ask each participant to purchase and pay for their own air travel. Please do this AFTER we confirm that the trip has a minimum subscription. These tours occur during or near peak season in Asia. For winter trips, we hope we can confirm minimum subscription by July, in order for you to buy air tickets at good prices.

In past years Nancy and I have used Eva Air www.evaair.com, a Taiwan-based airline started by Evergreen Shipping Company which flies worldwide. I have used their "Evergreen Deluxe" Class service which is close to business Class in terms of "stretch out” space, and costs a bit more than coach class.

Some of our tour participants use a travel agent to book their flight. Another option is to use a discount broker. If you do use the latter, and there are many on the web, be aware discount brokers are not meant to be a full service agencies. They work quickly. Quoted air fares can change daily. Check all details provided carefully.

Also, note that: MOST DISCOUNTER TICKETS CANNOT BE CHANGED OR IF THEY CAN, ONLY WITH A HEAVY PENALTY.
